United We Stand

Resident Garry Green
writes a report about the issues and recommendations for the
Jane-Finch neighborhood. The report to follow provides an overview
of a community meeting that was held June 1, 2006, featuring a wide
variety of community agencies, residents and leaders. The meeting
was held in order to provide the agencies and citizens in the
Jane-Finch and surrounding areas a voice as to what they would like
to see in the community. All in attendance agreed that it was time
to empower the community in order to implement positive changes that
can have a meaningful impact on future generations.
