October 18, 2010 - Democracy
In Action (DIA) hosted a debate for Ward 8 city council
candidates. In attendance was incumbent Anthony Perruzza,
John Gallagher, Naseeb Husain, Antonius Clarke, Peter Li
Preti and Arthur Smitherman. The debate was moderated by
Crystal. The candidate panel also responded to questions
from community residents in the theatre. This debate was
notable for being the first organized public debate for the
Ward 8 candidates in the Jane-Finch area.
